My personal background
A journey marked by resilience
From childhood, I learned what it truly means to care for someone and be self-reliant. Raised by a single mother, I experienced instability: three provinces, numerous moves, and teenage years where I had to take on responsibilities far beyond my age.
Family challenges quickly forced me to become autonomous and responsible. Very young, I learned to navigate uncertainty while caring for those around me.
From chaos to structure
Despite a difficult academic path and a guidance counselor who strongly advised against university, I refused to give up. I took summer courses, attended adult education classes in the evenings, and completed upgrading courses at CEGEP. I did everything necessary to catch up and build my future.
I obtained my DCS in nursing, then my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Five years later, I pursued an MBA in Business Administration with an International Profile. For ten years, I worked as a nurse in various settings, followed by a five-year career as an administrative coordinator for a researh team of 40 people.
But beyond the degrees, what I truly learned was how to transform intention into lasting action. How to create habits that stick, even when life is difficult. How to be disciplined without being rigid. How to move forward, one small step at a time.
Discipline: a daily challenge
What isn’t always visible behind a solid academic background are the daily struggles, particularly with lifestyle habits. For years, I struggled with:
- Exercise discipline — starting was easy, maintaining was another story.
- Physiotherapy exercises — we all know they’re necessary, but who actually does them consistently??
- Sleep — stress, work and mental overload made good sleep hygiene difficult.
- Eating — eating out of boredom, on autopilot, not listening to satiety signals.
I understood one essential thing: motivation wasn’t enough for me. Over time, I realized it isn’t enough for most people. You need systems, tools, and above all, self-compassion.
Why I do this work
Today, I support people who are experiencing what I experienced: the gap between knowing what to do and succeeding at doing it. Between wanting to change and actually getting there.
My journey taught me that anything becomes possible with the necessary effort, the right tools, and the acceptance that mistakes are an integral part of learning. My objective is to share this knowledge with you and watch you attain the goals you’ve been longing to accomplish.
If you’re looking for support and guidance from someone who understands what it takes to transform intentions into lasting habits, you’re in the right place.
